I AM 9 Months Today!

Today Grace is 9 months. Wow,,, she is growing up so fast. She is changing daily it seems. When we first got home, Adeyiza was very surprised at the changes that occurred in 2 weeks. Her rolling over has changed from "maybe" doing it once,, to back and forth,,, back to tummy,,, tummy to back,,, non stop! I kept thinking about the times Myra had her and I told Myra to keep working with her on rolling over b/c I was concerned of her progress. OH MY WHAT A HOOT! I do realize at times I was a bit nuts. But I guess that's what being a first time mom brings out in you. I do trust that she will be fine. I do include her in my prayers everyday:) She also is chewing her food better, talking a lot more, and being sooooo silly!!! She is just so much fun!!! Anyway,,,, she really does have a bit of a temper. I will take something away that she shouldn't have,,, and OH my,,, she gets so mad at me. I actually recorded it. I will have Adeyiza help me down load it on the computer some time. I look forward to many more changes and growth spurts!!!

Say,,, Chuckie Cheese!!!

Grace had her first trip to Chuckie Cheese while we were in MI. See,,, even though these days they have NEW places with MUCH more to do, faster equipment, NEW equipment, and just all around better than Chuckie Cheese (sorry Chuckie) my nephews and niece still want to go when I come home, so we all went. They all had a blast, even Grace. She loved looking and the bright colored rides, and even enjoyed to ride a few. WOW,,, she even had some pizza. She is surely growing up!!! Anyway,, today I was able to make it down to the gym to work out while Grace stayed home with Adeyiza. He had a late day, so I sneaked out. I wanted to attend a yoga class,,,, and as I was waiting,,,, I realized either 1. No one wanted to attend??? OR 2. I was in the wrong location. YES the answer is #2. I did work out, but later peaked in a different room where the class was. Well,,, now I know for next time. It's all about learning the ropes in a NEW place.

Where is everyone MOM?

Wow,,, I know Grace will miss her cousins. I can't tell you how much fun she had with them. No wonder she's been a bit grumpy. I need to find some babies around here FAST!!! I bet she misses Myra too. So many people say, "Awe,,, I bet Grace misses Myra,,, and Myra misses Grace!" I am sure they both miss each other!! WE will have to plan a visit soon. Anyway,,, I love these pics!! However, i am not sure who is holding who- as far as Kaitlyn and Grace go,,, but whatever works!!! Kaitlyn and Grace totally hit it off. of course the other two as well, but Kaitlyn had all the fun toys and wow,,, does she share!! That's great!!!

Grace misses you guys!!!

I will take pictures of our home as soon as it looks a tad put together. IT's going slow but good. Today is a lazy day. Grace was up a lot last night. I think it's her teeth. But who knows. We did eat eggs and toast together though,,, and then headed to the Charles River. She is getting better about her eggs. She will now bit off chunks of toast. Too cute!!! She is napping right now so I better get a move on it. Oh and Adeyiza is doing good too. We walked him to work the first day. It's about a 10 minute stroll. I know the winter weather is going to force him to take the bus. I couldn't imagine him strolling in snow!!! WE'll see.......

SAY CHEESE GRACE!!!!!!

Grace went down for another nap,, so I am going to try to catch up with all my new pictures. This was at the cottage. I just got that cute smile on camera and had to post it. She sure is sleepy and a bit fussy. She also had an accident,,,,one where it was bath time at 7:00AM, had to wash the bouncer, and had to disinfect the holder of the bouncer,,,, so I think you get what kind of accident she had. BUT,,, she was all cleaned up in no time. So,,, with all that,, I think it's another tooth, OR perhaps getting used to Boston,,,, not sure!!! Oh and by the way,,,, sometimes I feel like I am living in a movie, you know,,,,, the ones where you hear the "Boston" talk,,, and I think,, "Do they really sound like that? I love it!" YES,,, they do,, and it's so cool to hear them talk. I even think it beats the Texan talk. ( At least it's more noticeable,, something like that!) Anyway.... back to unpacking,,,, it's coming though!! :)

Boston,,,, Here we are!!!!!!!!!!!

WEll we made it!!!!!!!!! We are now officially in Boston. WOW,,, we are going to love it here. It's really nice. Grace and I took our first jog around the Charles River. That was beautiful!! I can get used to that,,,, that's for sure!!! As you can see,,, I think Grace can as well! :) We love our location,,, so close to everything!! I mean everything!!! We are slowly unpacking,,,, but it's going really well. I even cooked Adeyiza his first home cooked in meal last night!! I know he was getting a bit tired of eating out. But,,, we found all the kitchen supplies and made it happen!!! I will keep everyone posted on all our adventures!!! So far,,,, so good!!

Cottage Fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK one last cottage post!!!! As I pack up our things, I just can't believe it's been 3 weeks already. Time goes by so fast. Even faster when you are none stop busy. We had such a great time and did so much. It's true what they say about being excited and happy when your kids are. Watching Grace light up and kick with excitement each time she saw someone she recognized, was so cute! I am going to have to dive right into Boston and meet some people with kids so Grace can have some play friends. Anyway,,, I am up late b/c I am excited about going to Boston in the morning, and also to see Adeyiza. It's always nice to miss him and then to be SO SO excited to see him again!!! I am sad though to leave everyone, but this is nothing new I guess. It happens each and every time we leave. Now it's probably just a bit harder for those who will miss Grace too!!! Thank you Mom and Dad for all you did for us while we stayed. I know you are going to miss Grace,,,,, but remember,,,, NO work tomorrow,,, so hit the road,,,, 8 hours closer than Houston!!!!!! (Plus,,, we could always use a night out!!)

Party Time!!!!

Well.... despite Kaitlyn being in another cast for yet another birthday... we all tried to make the best of it. She seemed to be in good spirits and she definitely was a happy birthday girl. Grace is sure going to miss her cousins. They keep her so busy adn entertained. Her and Kaitlyn sure did hit it off. As you can see in pic #2, Grace and I WILL be working on sharing and not snatching things from other kids. Ha ha!! Super cute!!! Kaitlyn even let Grace play with all her NEW toys. So now,,,,, I guess I better get Grace some 4 year old toys,,, since she's SOOO advanced.

We are off to Boston tomorrow. We are sure going to miss everyone once again! It's a lot of fun being with family like this. Grace hears the Rino (4 wheeler), looks up, and waits for pappa to swoop her up for a ride. I just can't believe my little Grace is riding, swimming, boating, and enjoying all these lake activities. It just doesn't seem possible. Anyway,,, thank you all for spending time with us. We will be back soon!!!

Carnival Fun

We've still been pretty busy lately. Mason (my oldest nephew) and I "had" to go to the carnival. Dad was volunteering and so mom and I took Mason and Grace. It was sooooo hot. Wow,.,, I think Grace (and I) got out of Houston just in time. She is ALWAYS sweating. Today is Kaitlyn's birthday so we are going to GR to celebrate. Poor thing.,,,,,, she has a fractured leg. Last summer it was the body cast. This summer she got put in a cast to her knee. (Jayne--- can you believe that?) So we are going to lift her spirits up and celebrate tonight!!! Two more days and it's off to Boston. I am sure Grace will be SOOOO excited to see her daddy!! ( me too)

Lake Izabella

YUP..... she went on a boat ride!! C/O captain Grace Momoh!!!! She went in the Lake for the first time,,,, BUT,,,, she did not go in deep water! We really just stayed on the shore. She loved to sit on the sand. OK so I did put her in the water,,,, but not at the deep end. She loves to be in the water and I am teaching her how to swim. We all took lesson growing up, and I do believe it's very important for kids to know how to swim. So.,,,, we are starting early. She will kick her feet and paddle. (just a little- she is still getting the hang of it!) Yes,,, I do put LOTS of sunscreen on her as well. OK that was our day!! It was great!

Wow ..... So Many Firsts!!!!

So.... Grace had lots of NEW experiences yesterday while at Aunt Angie's cabin. First,,,, she tried a protein shake that Kathleen made for us. She loved it! Very healthy I must add. Then, she tried a pancake. Ok,,, so she didn't eat much of it, but it just helps her to get used to the consistency of table food. Then, she went for a ride,,,,, what kind??? That's to come next!!!

Fun at the Cabin!

We went to visit Aunt Angie in her beautiful log cabin. I LOVE IT!! These are her two cats. Grace got to meet both of them and surprisingly wanted to keep petting them. She just loves exploring the world around her!!! We had a great time together! Thank you Aunt Angie and Kathleen for the wonderful breakfast and day!!!!

Kaitlyn has been such a wonderful cousin to Grace. They play so good together! Wow I know Grace will really miss the company!!! ALL of her cousin surround her with attention and Fun times! This was on the 4th of July! They played all day,,,,, and then crashed at night!!

Yes, 4 years ago today I walked down the isle and married the man of my dreams. I thank God for all the wonderful and challenging days that we've had together. We grow, learn, and mature from each situation that arises. We will soon start a new adventure together in Boston!!! Then????? Who knows where,,,, but we will be ready to take on the next 40, 50, or 60 years together!!!!!

Table Food Time!!!!

Oh yes she is!!!! She is starting to eat more and more table food. One night that's all her dinner consisted of. She is beginning to chomp her teeth,,, by the way #4 has just broke through. Anyway,,, this is a banana. I have her eating corn on the cobb. I will post that soon! But it's so cute. She is not afraid to try anything. Most of it she really likes. Only bitter or really sweet things she spits out.
