Poka Dots

Too cute!! Kian came over to play,, and they were both dressed the same. Poka dot shirts with pants!! We laughed. Wow Grace gets so excited to see him. She rolls into him,, knocks him over,,,, then keeps on doing it!! I am trying to teach her to be gentle. I know she doesn't mean it,,, but seriously,,, Kian may get mad one of these days!!! We will be busy this weekend with one of my friends from MI. So if not posts pop up these next two days,,,,,,,,,,that's why!! Adeyiza left for Toronto this Friday for a conference. Funny how it worked out,,, she's coming,,, he's going!! I guess that's good. Pure girl time!!!

Pout Face

OK so she does this pout face,,, NO tears,,, just a BOO HOO type deal. It's usually when she doesn't get what she wants. Can you believe that???? I just think OH my,,,, she is going to be a hand full. Also,,, if I take something away that she can't have,,, she will have a mini melt down. This includes; pout face, tears, and kicking of the arms and legs. I hope Adeyiza is ready for all this girl drama!!!

Kitchen Play Time

Yes,,,, creativity is a must when you are a stay at home mom. What to do and how many ways we can do that "something" is key :) Grace had all her empty containers out to play with. In the big tin - she started seeing her reflection. It was so cute!! It was a rainy day,,,, so we made the best of it!!! Plus,,, what a GREAT way to recycle!!!

Sunday

This was last Sunday. Krista and Andy went with us to church before they left. Grace was sleeping,,,, eventually woke up,,,, but she stayed the whole time. After church we took Andy and Krista to the car rental place,,,, where they began their journey to Maine. Grace misses them already,,,,, I can tell!!!

What a Day!

We went downtown, walked around, and made it back to Boston Common Park and crashed. Well at least everyone but Grace and I. We did at least 10 miles of walking. Now they know where Grace and I go periodically. The park that we went to is the same one we go to for the Frog Pad. The pictures were taken down by the Aquarium. Very beautiful downtown. We sure do enjoy Boston!

Good Morning Grace!!!

The first three pics are of Krista and Grace this morning!! I let Krista pick her up when she woke up. It was so cute!!! Grace is so quiet in the morning. She is JUST like her daddy!!! It takes her a while to wake up. ME- I jump up and I'm ready to start the day ASAP!!! I took the ones with Andy and Grace Friday night after dinner. She was so excited,,,, she's been going to bed VERY late these last two nights!! Tomorrow we are back to the "routine". I let it go when we have company. It's all about flexibility!!!

They're Here!!! Pre- 1st Birthday

Krista and Andy arrived here on Friday afternoon. We had such a great time,,,, I can't believe it's over!! BOO HOO!! Grace loved opening her presents. Thank you both for everything!!! Aunt Penny and Uncle Dave were with us on Friday too. MAN,,,, I didn't take any pictures. We went swimming at the hotel they stayed in on Thursday. That was fun. Grace loves the water!!! I will post our weekend together. We went downtown and did a few things together. Again,,,,, what a great weekend!!

Company Time

Is this not the cutest dress? OK this is my last post today,,,, and probably for a while! BECAUSE..... Aunt Krista and Uncle Andy are coming tomorrow morning,,, and Aunt Penny and Uncle Dave are here now!! SO,,, we will be busy with company. BUT, this picture was last Sunday before church. That was the day she couldn't stay b/c it was full. BUT- Tuesday went great. I had bible study, and she lasted for almost 2 hours. She was very tired and missed me (I'm sure) so they buzzed me towards the end. But that was ok,,, I was missing her too. Plus,, i had to get the car returned on time. I was very proud of her. :)

Saturday Jog

Yup,,, we still all go jogging every Saturday morning!!! We started this in Houston. Before Grace,,, Adeyiza and I would go on Saturdays. When Grace came along,,,, when she got older,,, we took her along with us!! Now,,, we have continued the tradition. The only thing that is changing,,,,, is the weather!!! A bit cold some mornings. BUT- we bundle her up and head to the Charles River!!

Harvard Square

Last weekend we took a trip to Harvard Square. What a beautiful campus. It makes me want to go back to college. We were walking out of the Curious George store and all of a sudden a marching band starting playing down the street. Grace was watching them the whole time. We then walked around a bit before dinner. It was nice time!!!!

Picnic Time at Charles Park

We had a fun afternoon at the park today. Keen (the little boy) fell asleep on the way there,,,, so Grace had to start eating her lunch with out him. He soon woke up ,,,, and Grace was SO excited!!! She even pulled his ear, pinched his cheek, and gave him a hug. See the squirrel in the background??? It was coming up so close to us,,,, I had to shoo it away!!! Anyway,,, they had a blast!!! I believe Grace will go to bed early tonight. She is actually on her way now!!!
