Just Because

John is so funny these days!!! He is ALL over the place. 2 weeks after his 9 month check up he started doing all the "things" he was suppose to be doing at his 9 month check up. That's usually how it goes with my children. They do what they want- when they want to. Here is how the conversation went at his apt.

Doc. "Is he pulling up?"

ME: "NO"

Doc. "Is he going from floor to sitting position?"

ME: "NO"

Doc. "Is he crawling?"

ME: "NO"

AND on and on!!

You get my drift. All the milestones he was suppose to reach by now.... he wasn't doing. Then.. what do you know. 2 weeks later he is pulling himself up, sitting from a laying down position, walking from object to object, and he even took a couple steps alone. He is still wobbly- but he's improved even over the weekend. He is doing everything now that he is "suppose" to be doing. But really- I don't pay attention to those charts. My theory is that all kids learn and grow at the pace that's best for them. Plus my doc. said all these milestones don't equal high test scores!! So it's all good. I am thankful to God for all his progress.
