I thought I would write first so that I can explain our tree this year. Ha ha. So... at first I wanted an artificial one... no mess.. no water right? But then the more I thought about it- we just don't have the space "this year" to have the one I really want. So... a good ol real one did just fine this year!! I do LOVE real trees. But they are messy. With these two constantly pulling on the branches and such- I just think I would like to try an artificial one. We got a small one that fits perfectly in our living room. We all went to Lowes to pick one out. It was the first one I pulled out of the pile. I always seem to pick ones that look like my parent's trees- but so be it I guess. We got it home and the festivities began. The kids helped Adeyiza put it in the holder- cut the net off- and then time to decorate!!

Notice JOHN - "blankie and Paci" are the two words that come out of his mouth the most. I was going to start taking his paci away- but now that's all he wants ALL the time. I am going to start soon though.

Grace did a great job decorating. John.... not so much. :)
After this picture was taken- we did add tinsel and Candy Canes. We had at least 12 Candy Canes- ummm we are down to 4. NOT GOOD!! But we all love to eat them - so why not right???
I have lots of cute pictures still to come. Making a cookie (yes 1 each).... first snow.... and Frosty the Snowman Movie time!!!!!
