Blow A Kiss Grace!!!

She is learning something new everyday. I love it!!! This is her blowing a kiss!!!

Words she can say: Dada , Ba ba, Mama, and now she is trying to say BABY,,, she will say the B sound twice. I love it!!! She mimics me and tries so hard to say more. It's amazing how fast they start saying words. She also does it in a pattern. It goes like this: ba (soft) ba (soft) BA (loud),,,, so it's like soft, soft, LOUD,,, so cute!!!

Game Time!!!

Well we did it!!! We all went to a game today!!! Grace did good. She even met a friend (Sam). Adeyiza has the day off tomorrow, so we told Grace we are ALL sleeping in! We will see. She's been getting up at 4:00. Perhaps she will listen to us and let us sleep in for once. :)

What??? Bubbles in the BATH???

Why didn't I think of that sooner? BUBBLES in the bath: Easy clean up and cleans while you play!!! Grace still loves her bath!!! More than ever now that I've thrown bubbles in the picture. See the first picture????? Here is what she does,,,,, she takes a toy out of the bath,,, puts it to my face and wants me to put it in my mouth and shake it all around. WE do this over and over again! The only time I said no,,, was when she did it with her wash cloth! I just couldn't do that. But for the most part,,, what ever toy she wants in my mouth,,,,,, I do!!! She just giggles and thinks it's so funny !!!! It's Sunday morning,,, so we will try nursery this morning. I've decided not to teach 2nd grade Sunday School. Adeyiza would have to get up at 4:30, I would have to have Grace there for 4 hours (well, all of us),,,, which means packing breakfast/lunch/bottles,,, and we would have to rent the car extra long. It just isn't going to work this year. Next year it will be different!!! OK, happy long weekend!!!

Park Fun!

Today was so nice out! I took Grace to a park that's really close to our apartment. I just discovered it last week on a different adventure and thought we should go today. We played for a bit and then headed home. She fell asleep! Good thing,,,,, we have a dinner date with another couple. They have a one year old, so I am hoping that Grace will meet a new friend to play with. We'll see!!!!

Bubbles, Toys, and SOOO BIG!!

She loved watching the bubbles fly in the sky!!! OH and NO,,, she doesn't have lipstick on,,, it's from her RED popsicle!!! Ha ha!! Pretty girl! This was still from the other day. Today we went back to the Frog Pond. She loves getting wet!!! She was so sleepy on our way home. She had a sip of water and took a little nap. Tomorrow is suppose to be windy b/c of EARL!! Just think,,,,, we were trying to escape all the Hurricane action!!! They are following us!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH side note: SO in one of the pictures you can tell that it looks like her toy is on her tummy. What she does is this,,,,,,,,,,, she takes either toys or her hands, brings them up,,, and BAM smacks them on her tummy. I tell her no no,,,, b/c she does it so hard. One day I saw her rub her tummy in circles. Perhaps she has just discovered it,,, I don't know!! But it almost looks painful the way she slams things on her tummy. I guess it's not,,, it's usually followed by a little giggle!!!! Grace,,, Grace,,,, Grace!!!!

Mini Popsicles

My friend (Sally) told me about these MINI Popsicles. Much better in size for an infant!!!! They are perfect and are even "slow melting" ,,,,, so the box says!!! Great idea!!! Now I don't have to eat half of the regular size Popsicles. She can have the WHOLE thing :)

Busy Hot Day!!!!!!

So,,,,, we had a fun day today!!!! Despite the heat,,, we went outside anyway. Well.... kind of! I was on my way to the park and she fell asleep!!! Not only that, but she was so hot and sweaty that I turned around and came back home. She finished her nap in her crib. Then we went to our court yard (the one that is in our apartment complex.) We had a picnic,,,, and then played for a bit. I put these glasses on her!!!! For once she loved them. She then tried and tried to put them on herself. NOPE,,,, she couldn't do it!!! I helped her though. I have more pics coming soon of this day. We blew bubbles,,,, played with our toys,,, and ate Popsicles. We both took an afternoon nap together!! Ooops.... I was suppose to be cleaning!! Oh well.... that's the beauty of being home! I can DO IT LATER!!!!

Fun Day!

These pictures a little mixed up in order,,, but we went to the Frog Pad on Tuesday,,, then relaxed on the blanket and people/bird/pet watched. We had a great day. Today is sooooo hot. We went out for a minute... then came back in. She was super sweaty,,, so I didn't want to make her uncomfortable. We will have to play indoors until it cools down.
