Grandma and Grandpa Yippy!!!

Grandma and Grandpa Momoh came to visit on Thursday. They will be here until Sunday. We are so thankful they were able to make it to Boston. Grandpa has a 4 day conference to attend, so Grandma will come spend time with us during that. They are staying at the hotel that is hosting the conference. SO far Grace has been a good girl. It always takes a minute to warm up to company,,, but soon after she will begin to "SHINE". They were so cute playing yesterday. Her Aunties sent a bunch of gifts,,,, so we were busy for the whole day. She also got a new Christmas dress. She is going to look SOOOO cute!!!! I will post pictures of Grace and Grandpa when I get some.

OH - and doesn't Grandma look good!!! She's lost a lot of weight and is half her size!!! She looks so young and vibrant!!!!

Help ME Mommy!!!

This was so funny. She took off the water bottle label,,,, and kept trying to put it back on. Before I got the camera out,,, she did it at least 5 times. So cute!!

Musical Feet

My Reflection!

Is this not the funniest thing ever? She always loves to look at her reflection in the stove and also in the bathtub. She found a little piece of metal that she looks at in the tub,,,, which shows her reflection. It's so funny to watch.

Good Girl!!!

Grace was such a good girl at church today. She hardly cried when I dropped her off,,,, and when I picked her up,,, she again,,, didn't cry. See usually when I go to get her,,, once she notices me,,, she starts crying so hard. But NOPE not this time!! I love it!! It makes it easier to leave her. This means she is for sure GROWING up!!! These pictures were taken this morning before we left!!!

Up Up and Up!!!

So we switch from stretching,,, to reaching,,,, to climbing,,, back to stretching,,, to reaching,,,, to climbing!!! Wow she is getting more risky at everything she does. She now LOVES to sit up on her knees. She's only fallen back twice,,, but I try to catch her for the most part. She is still a bit wobbly standing up,,, but better and better each day. I now know why people used to say , "Enjoy her just sitting!!" She is certainly all over the place!!! I just love this age though... they surprise you in so many ways. She waves at everyone ,,, gives them a big smile,,,, and shows off that cute personality. We are still going outside,,, it's just a shorter time span. A bit chilly. Today was 50 out,, so we went around the block,, to the store,,, and back again. It wouldn't be bad if the wind would go down. But a little fresh air is great for the two of us :)

Where are the cookies????

Jack -Pot!!!! I love when we are out and about,,, and I run in to a GREAT deal that leads to LOTS of fun for Grace. We went to Bed Bath and Beyond today,,, just to look around,,, and what do you know???? They had 100 cookie cutters reduced b/c of 1 piece missing!!! The minute I see things like that I am thinking, "WOW- Grace would love to spread those ALL over the floor,,, and tap them, shake them, chew on them, and on and on!!" Sure enough - she's been playing with them now for a very long time. Then the teacher side of me kicks in.....We can sort them? Put them in different colors, sizes, shapes, and so on!! I know,,,,,,, but that's just how that teacher brain kicks in!!! Anyway,,, that's our news for today!!!

Put Your Shoes On!!!!

I tell Grace to put her shoes on,,,,, she will try and try and try,,, until I do it!!! It's funny though to watch her try so hard. Very determined girl!!!!

Eensy Weensy Spider Sing Along

Today

Ok- so here we are before our trip to church. YES!!! She made it through the whole thing!! I was able to stay in class the entire time!!! I am so proud of her. Now,,, that means she stayed in nursery school Sunday,,,, and now today!!! My little girl is growing up!!

Plum Video

Here is Grace eating her plum,,,, well I guess kind of! !!Today was so nice out. Finally some warmer weather. We went to the park and then for a long walk. I had to take advantage of the warmth. We came home and BOTH took a nap. Soon after we started our evening time routine. Dinner, bath, play time, bottle, books, and bed. NOW- computer time for me!!!

River Time

We went to the Charles River today to watch a bunch of Crew Races!! It was so neat! It was a huge event with people from all over the United States. Grace did well, however, she did get a bit fussy towards the end. I think it was a bit cold,,, FOR ME THAT is!! She seemed to love the weather!! We all came back, got warmed up, and played for a while!! We had a nice chilly day!!!

Snack Time : Plum!!!! YUM

Grace had a plum for snack today. I did get the flip video,, so coming soon!! I usually cut her fruit up in pieces,,, but after we took her to the orchard and watch how well she ate an apple,,, I gave it a shot with a plum. However,,,, I don't think she ate very much of it. All she did was bit and spit. I hope that she at least got some plum juice :).

New Sippy Cup

Grace is so used to her purple and pink sippy,,,,,, that I do think it's time for a NEW sippy cup!! She seems to kind of like it,,,, It may take some time though!!! This was about 2 minutes ago!! WOW I love this flip camera!! It works fast,, and it's so easy to use. Plus I can load the videos in 2 seconds!! LOVE IT!

This Morning!

Moring Shake!!!

Grace always shakes her head and kicks her feet!! It's so funny!! This video is off my new Flip Phone. Sally (My friend in MI) gave it to us for Grace's Birthday. She always sends me flip clips of her kids!! I love to watch them and so NOW we have one too!!!

Open,,, Close!!!

Grace is so funny!! I will look at her and say, "Close your eyes Grace!" She does!!! It's so cute! WE had a nice day yesterday. She stayed in our apartments play room while I joined a moms group. What do you know???? She didn't want to leave. I went to pick her up and she cried to get back down with the girls she plays with. NEVER thought I would see that day!! Wow,,, Kind of sad,,, but GOOD!! Today we went out for a bit. I bundled her up and we walked for a while.

I want to keep going out until it's just WAY too cold!! We'll see!!!

What does the cow say?

Grace and Grammy were playing, "What Does The Cow Say?" She has flash cards with different animals on them. You show her a card and ask her what each animal says. Some she gets,,,, and some we need to work on more. But,,, she has fun doing it and really loves the COW noise!! She gets that one right every time!! OH and then in the middle of it all,,,, she will get in her Yoga position. She is soooo funny!!! She was in her new PJ's in these pictures!! It was almost time for bed.

Orchard Day

OK so Grammy and Papa went home today,,,, Boo Hoo.. I know Grace will miss them. Here is a picture of Grace at the orchard!! We all took her when they were still here. We went on a hay ride, ate apples, and watched all the animals. It was a really fun day!!!

Grammy Time!!

Grammy was taking Grace UP and DOWN and UP and DOWN!!! Grace was giggling and loved it!! OH and pic #2,,, FOR SOME Reason,,,, since they are in Boston,,,, they think they have to have a Boston Cooler EVERY SINGLE night!! I told them ,,, NO really,,,, you don't !! But,,, they insist that's what you HAVE to do if you stay in Boston!!! Whatever - I said! Ha ha!!!

Papa Time!!

This was so cute!!! Papa was reading to Grace and she would keep looking up at him. She LOVES books,,, she loves to be read to,,, and now she even takes the books and pretends she is reading! She sure is going to miss them!!!
