Up and OVER!!!!!!

So,,, a while back I remember telling everyone that she uses her feet very often. If she feels anything by them,,, she will use her feet to pick up the item,, and then transfer it to her hands. So I bought a ball Sunday night so that we could use it today. She loved it!!! I put it by her feet... she would feel it,,, kick it,,, then lift it UP and OVER her head!!!! Then she would roll, roll, roll, until she got it again!!! Fun times!!!!

Egg - In - A - Hole!!

Well,,,, here is her first egg-in-a-hole!! If you've never tried them,,,,,,,,,, it's a must!! This is all I can remember eating growing up (ok well not all- but you know what I mean!) Now,,, my nephews and niece love them too!!! Grammy and Papa (my folks) got us hooked as kids!!! You take a piece of bread (whole wheat double fiber or grain bread--- and for you none healthy people--- WHITE is fine!) Butter both sides, find a cup, punch a small hole in the middle, keep that middle piece (for dunking if you like it runny), put it in the pan, crack an egg in the center, and fry it!!!! We all ate it runny,,, so then you take that small round piece and dunk it in the center!!! Grace ate some,,, I finished the rest!! And NO runny parts this time. Now as I'm older,,, it grosses me out!!!

Grace Is Good!!

Oh it's ok Grace,,,, mamma is only leaving you in the nursery for an hour!! I promise we will pick you up! :)

Grace - YUP,,, that's the name of our NEW church!!! This was the 3rd church we tried,,, and from the start I new it was the ONE!!! Plus,, ,,, I always wanted to attend a church called Grace!!! We thank GOD we found this one!! Grace stayed with us b/c she was sleeping,,, but next week I hope to drop her off at the nursery.

Fun at the Park!!!

Yes,, again,,, her feet are ALWAYS up!!! People walking by just can't help but laugh!!! She is so funny!! We went to the park today to play. Adeyiza did not come with us. He has a HUGE exam in October, so he is VERY busy preparing for that!! We know he will do fine though,,,, he always does!!! The day was great though. It's amazing how busy the parks are on the weekends!!! It's good though,,, a chance to meet people!!!!

Well.... here it is!!! Her morning hairdo! She woke up today,,,, and decided to help me with the laundry. This is what her hair always looks like in the morning!! Full, beautiful, and ALL natural!!! Love IT!

Rain Day!!!!!

OK so Monday we went to music class at the Library. Tuesday we went to the park. Wednesday ,,,, can't remember,,,, and yesterday we stayed home and PLAYED PLAYED PLAYED!!! Grace went exploring (as usual) around the house. The first few pics are her under our coffee table. She kept trying to reach up to get that candle. (That was in the morning! I can always tell since ALL these pics were on the same day,,,, we usually have a couple clothes changes,,, so by the afternoon,,, she was in the flower outfit!) Anyway,,,then we did a few more things,,, took a nap,,, and started playing again. She does this GROSS thing with her spit. Notice the pics of her faces. OK look very hard,,,, she spits and watches her spit hit her face OR the floor. One day I sat watching her,,, she will get up on her hands,,, and keep spitting on the floor all while watching where the spit lands. I KNOW!!!! GROSSSSSSSSS But I know at this age,,, she just found her spit or is very curious,,, until she spits at ME then she's ok for her to explore those body functions. Anyway,,, now she gets under her bouncy and kicks the bottom part of it. TOO FUNNY!! I don't know,,,, she may be getting stir crazy in here!! We just got back from the park today. She is taking her LONG nap!!! Well I hope anyway,,, I have a few things to do!! So we'll see!!! When she wakes up we are going to go to this other park that we've never been to. It's just down the street. I passed it once on our way home from the store. She was sleeping so we didn't stop. But I will take her when she wakes up. It's fun Friday.... so I have to come up with something fun!!! Awe... that reminds me of school. Fun snack Friday,,,, every Friday I would bring in a treat for snack instead of boring ol' pretzels. Each year the kids LOVE grahm cracker with frosting!!! Mom used to make that for us,,,, so I tried it with my kids. WOW,,,, they love it so much!! I hope to pass on the Fun Snack Friday with Grace too!!!! I am sure she will look forward to it!!!!




Oh and check out her teeth!!! I finally got a pic showing all 4. #5 is coming soon!! Also,,, that blue tray- GREAT way to recycle and create new "cheap" toys. They are from her "lil Meals for Toddlers", I wash them, fill them with things (or leave them empty), and she LOVES to play with them. I do that with most plastic containers. It seems to keep her well entertained!!

Music Time!!!

Today we added some instruments to our music. Since she loves so many of the instruments at music class, we added a few of our own. First, we picked her favorite containers. Then, we filled them with pasta. Last, we sang and shook them to the music. Grace loves it!! She really sits and watches for a while before she lets loose. (Look at those pics!) That's what she really does!! IT's so cute!!! We had fun today. Oh and OOps,,, we did take another 2 hour nap together. I tell you what,, I NEVER could sleep when she was an infant!!! NOW,,, I fall right to sleep with her (well sometimes!) It must be all this walking!!!!!

We were playing, " Where is the lamb?" Grace found it!!!

These past few days have been good. Grace and I went to music class on Monday and then the park today. Tomorrow,,,,, who knows!!!
