Cancun Here We Come!!

Grace is all ready for our trip tomorrow. She loves wearing my glasses. We will be back on Monday. I am excited for some warm weather. This second picture was also taken today. I tried to get the snow in the background- but you really can't see it. The snow wasn't too bad. I guess they made it sound worse on TV. But today everything was clear and I believe flights are all on time. So tomorrow we will leave and find out.

Great Grandma Did It Again!!!

I love this sweater!!! Great Grandma made it for Grace. She loved it soooo much that when I took it off she REALLY did cry!!! That's why I had to take that pouting picture!!!

Today we got a TON of snow!! It did stop- but the streets were empty. Adeyiza even had the day off. He was able to come home early. Yes- he did have to go out in it- but at least he was able to get home at a good time. We leave for Cancun on Friday. He has a conference to attend, so Grace and I are going to tag along. I hope it's sunny and HOT!!! I would love to take Grace swimming. She loves the water. I will post some new pictures of her when we return.

Church Today!!

I LOVE this dress!!! Thank you cousin Kaitlyn for giving Grace so many WONDERFUL clothes. It's so cute- when we were home for Christmas - Kaitlyn will see Grace wearing one of her old outfits. Kaitlyn will say, "I have that outfit at home!" If she only knew!!!

We went to church today. Grace did ok. She cried for a little bit and I think they had to hold her the whole time- but that's b/c it's been a while since we've been. (We were in MI.) Next time I'm sure she will do better!!

Up Up and AWAY!!!

Grace has learned to push herself up and stand!! It's sooooo cute!! She is taking her time..... but I know she will walk soon.

1,2,3 Look at ME!!!

Grace is learning how to count. She joins me at 2 and that's about it. The other numbers she tries to say, but it's more of a humming sound. At least she is trying!!! She loves her magnetic numbers!!

But Mom......I'm not done taking a bath yet!!!!

Grace would not let go of her wash cloth after her bath- so I let her take it out of the tub. After her lotion and PJ's, she decided to continue her wash!!!! Silly girl!

So Happy Together!!!!

Well today was the big day!!! Grace and Kian once again reunited. They were sooooooo cute when they first saw each other. You could tell they really missed each other. Kian gave her another kiss but I just can't take the picture in time. They played for a while today and then Grace took a late nap b/c she was so tired!! We have two play dates tomorrow which I am so happy for. I think Grace likes to be around people and I know she misses her family. The first night back I was trying to put her to bed and she kept saying, "Papa....Meme.... Papa.... Meme!" It was cute but kind of sad too. We will try to go home again in a couple months. We will see!!

Walking All Over!!!

Grace is holding on to everything and walking all over!!! I know she will be walking soon!!!

Yippy!!!

We are slowly introducing Grace to all the winter activities. She loves being outside and she loves the snow too. Grammy and Papa gave her a ride on the "Rhino". She had so much fun!!! Next year I am hoping to get her some ice skates. We tried to sled- but the snow melted. Next year we will try again!!!

Christmas at Great Grandma's House!!!

This was Christmas day at grandma's house. We all had another wonderful time. Grace did so well. About 20 minutes after she opened her presents, she was out!! She took a nap right after. I have to point out that the top pictures was a sweater made by my grandma. YES- you will see Grace in it- but I had to just post the picture of it. She also made us matching aprons. Grandma has to know that these homemade gifts are so special to all of us. We will keep them forever!!! After gifts, we ate dinner and visited a while before we left for the cottage.We loved being home to see everyone!!!
Oh and I had to post the picture of Grammy and Grace. For once mom has HER eyes open- but Grace doesn't!! Mom knows what I mean. She is the queen of eyes shut during a picture :)

Tree

These have to be my favorite pictures!!! She loves "trees" and will say "teee" every time she spots one. (look at her mouth in pic two-you can tell that she is saying it) Grandma always has a beautiful tree.

We are home now- so I can share some of my pictures with you all. This was Christmas Eve night after church. We all got our PJ's on and relaxed. Grace opened a few presents that night. She loved all her new toys!!!
