Park Day in Canada

So did the boys and Grace. I actually bought a bag of sand a while back and they play in it everyday. I put it in a baking pan. ha ha I know.... kind of silly - but we don't have the yard for a sand box.... not YET at least!!!!

The kids had a blast at this park. It was really nice and HUGE!!! The weather was perfect. We've never been to Canada when it was that warm. We usually travel there around Christmas- so it was great to have some warmer weather. 

Grandpa Time

Fun With Cousins

I still have some Canada pics. Grace LOVED being with her cousins for the weekend. They all play so well together. When it was time for us to go home she cried and cried!!! She didn't want to leave them. It was so sweet/sad that of course it makes me upset. BUT- we are only a flight away!!! 

It's Never Too Early

John kept pulling at his pants while saying "ptty". So I put him on the potty. He grunted like he was going poo poo- but nothing. Ha ha. He's so silly!!

 

 



Guess what's coming in 9 months????

Ha ha It's not what you think. NO BABY.....but a house!!!

People have been asking me about our house hunting. Well... it's over because we will be building one. The truth is, we've been looking for a while and what we have found was that houses are either too old, not enough yard, wrong town, wrong school district, too much work to do after we purchase it, and the list goes on. SO- building you get : the house you want, the yard you want, and the school district you want. Seems like the BEST choice for us. We are very thankful for this happening. I will be going out to the lot on several occasions and keeping up with the progress. So you will be able to see our house being built too- as I will post pics here and there. I also want to take the kids to see the process too. I know they would just love to watch all the builders. They go into a trance when the lawn mowers come. They just sit and watch the WHOLE time. It's sooo funny. Anyway- I just thought I would let everyone know. And yes- I know how much work it can be. However this is a great company with all of it pretty much done. The fun has just begun!!!!!  

Cousin Anayimi

 

 

 

Here is our new baby cousin Anayimi.  Grace wanted to be around her ALL THE time!! Literally. She loved her so much. We had a great time with them. I still have lots of cousin pictures and ones with Grace getting her hair braided. I'll keep them coming.

 

Tomorrow my parents are coming for a visit. We can't wait!!! Date night - ha!!! We have lots of things to do so it will be nice to have them around.

 

Grace keeps saying how much she misses meme and papa so she will be so excited to spend time with them.

Party Time!

 

 

This was when Adeyiza's parents were walking in. They thought they were going to a party for a friend. Once they walked in - we all said SURPRISE!!! The look on their faces was GRRRREAT!!!

 

They started walking around giving everyone hugs!!!

 

 

Grace got to be with grandpa for a while. She was LOVING that!!

John still loves his rice!!! He ate really well at the party. As long as I have rice- he's good to go.



 

Grace loved playing with cousin Grace. I love it when all the older cousin just take over!!! It's a nice little break. I don't remember being with Grace this whole party but 10 minute. Ha ha. It's nice!!!

Grandma Time

 

 

Here is grandma enjoying her grandchildren!!! They all had such a great time. I have so many pictures of the party- but I'm just too tired right now to post that many. I will get on it soon though.

 

Grace loved being where ever her new baby cousin was. She kept saying," she has brown eyes like me!" or "she is light brown like me!" I was so glad she was able to relate to her- as we are having conversations DAILY about skin color. But that's a whole different post. Let's just say she is one curious child!!!  Anyway- that's all tonight . Until next time. 

All Tired Out!

I had to post this now- it's just too cute!! This was our last day. I was packing and John wanted me to hold him. I had to finish packing so I couldn't. He then climbed up on my suitcase and laid there. Awe... tired John!

Up Up and Away!

 

This was before we were about to board the plane.

So yes- I was fake sleeping- but JOHN finally slept. This was on the way home actually. The 2 flights to Canada neither one slept. They did good but it was exhausting!!!

 



Adeyiza and Grace enjoying the comfy seats. Ha ha NOT! Well at least Grace had leg room. She slept on the way home too. We had 2 short flights to total 3 hours. It wasn't bad and went fast. They LOVE getting juice on the plane. That kills a few minutes anyway. ha ha

 



This was it!!! We were home. It was around 9:00 at night and I had to set them down while we got a cab. They are troopers and did great. So proud of them.  

We're BACK!!!!

Ahhh I can finally talk about what we've been doing. So- as some of my family knows- we went to Canada Friday for a surprise retirement party for my in-laws.  I didn't want to take any chances on this blog to spoil it- so I made sure I didn't talk about us getting ready for the trip. So now that's it's over- I will be sure to fill you all in. I will add a ton of pics when I do. Not tonight though- I need to go to bed.
