Not Play Time Grace,,,,,, NAP TIME!!!

Well,,,,, beside the whole, "Peek - A- Boo" game,,,, Grace now learned to sit up in her crib and play for a bit. She started this a couple weeks ago,,,, I thought I should share what she's doing. When it's time for her nap,,,, we still read her books,, followed by many LONG yawns,,,, then rubbing of the eyes,,, then more yawns,,, so I am thinking, "Yup,,,, she's really ready this time!" NOPE,,, I put her in her crib,,, and now she rolls,,, sits up,,,, lays down,,, rolls,,,, sits up,,, lays down,,, rolls sits up,,, claps her hands,,, makes noises,,,, waves Bye- bye,,,, and so on and so on. OH and then she will go, "Mama, mama,,mama,,, dada,,, dada,,, " Over and over again in the highest pitch happiest voice!! I have to admit,,, it's kind of cute!!

Funny Carrie!!!

This was when Carrie was here. She was making Grace laugh sooooo hard. She was dancing, singing, and being so silly that Grace just kept laughing and laughing!!! Funny Carrie!!!

Cold Today,, Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!

We sure did have to bundle up today. It was cold brrrrrrrrrrrr! But,,, Grace loved the cold wind,,,, all in her face!! Well I think she did,,,, !! It didn't seem to bother her. She rides in her stroller leaning up. Tomorrow I will have to snap a shot. I have to remind her to sit back, but she wants to see EVERYONE that walks by. Plus, if we see a dog,,, she will say something like, "doadgdoad!" I know,,, it's hard to type. But it's a mixture of dog and dada. I love it!! We actually go to this park behind our house that many dog owners go to. I have to stop and let her watch All the dogs run. It's great though. She loves to watch them and kicks her feet with smiles the whole time. I can't wait until we can get her a dog. We went to the store today and everyone was like," Look at that sweater!! Where did you get it??" I said,, "It's one of a kind!" I love the hat too. She kept it on the whole time. It's a good thing Auntie knew what she needed ! :-)

Super Silly

I love that first picture!! She is so silly!!!! I let her play with her pumpkin on the floor. I know,,,,, what a toy!! Whatever works:)

Funny After Bath Hair

I tell you what,,,,, doesn't Grace's hair just change her whole face when it's a bit different???? I mean some of those crazy hair shots make her look like a totally different baby. Well at least to me anyway. It's still getting so long. She is so funny after bath time now. She wants to get away from me before I can even get a diaper on. OH no you don't Grace!!!!! I try to hurry and get her dressed. We don't want any accidents. She just keeps giggling as I keep pulling her back to me. I think she thinks it's a game. Grace,,,, Grace ,,,, Grace :-)

Pumpkin Time

Grace picked out her very own pumpkin today. We went across the street to a little farmer's market where they had TONS of pumpkins. I love this time of year!! NOW we can enjoy the beauty of the leaves changing. Oh and the cold weather. Look at Grace!!! Yes,,, I had to bundle her up a tad. Today was the coldest day so far this year for us. But,, she has to get used to the Fall chill,, b/c soon it will be that good ol' Winter chill. AND yes,,,, we will be going out in the snow. I am going to teach her how to make snowballs, create snow angels, build a fort, and make a snowman. All the things I used to do in the Winter. As soon as she's old enough,,,, she will be ice skating, ice fishing (with Papa) and snow skiing!! Anyway,,,, we got to the market and her eyes got SO big. She was looking at all the pumpkins and wanted to touch them. So I let her touch a few and then I held a couple up to her. She picked the one in the picture. So,,,,,, I put it on her lap (in the stroller) and was pushing her around like that. I picked it up once,,, and she started to cry,,,, so I put it back on her lap. ALL BETTER!!! See,,, she loves her pumpkin. I brought her home,,, set it on the floor and she kept touching it with her hands so gently. Precious moments!!!

Too Funny!!!

Sometimes I get Grace laughing sooooo hard!!!! I say, "Mama" to her while getting close to her face. Since Carrie was here she was able to capture her laughing. It's just so cute!!!! I of course wait until she has NO food in her mouth. :)

Hot Day!

This was the other day. It was so nice out!!!! The day before I actually put away all of her summer clothes except for one pair of shorts. It's a good thing!! They were much needed this day. We later went to the park with Kian. They always LOVE to swing together and go down the slide. It's a good thing she has a buddy to play with. They are leaving for the month of October though,,, so we will have to keep busy with out him. We know that Grammy and Papa are coming soon,,,, so that will help. Adeyiza's parents will be here in November too. We can't wait to see them !! Then we will be traveling to MI in December for Christmas!

Bye Bye Carrie!!

This was Carrie's Birthday night out!! We were able to go out to eat before Adeyiza left for Toronto!! We had a nice time. I will miss YOU!!!

Yes,,, Grace opened up her gift from Great Grandma. Another knitted sweater!!! I just love how talented she is. I REALLY need to learn how to knit to make sweaters too!!

Carrie's Here!!!

Carrie (my friend from MI) came to visit us this weekend. We had a great time. The weather has not been so great,,,, but we were able to spend some good girl time together. She is going home today. Boo Hoo!!! Grace loved having her around. She seems to get so excited now when we have company!! Thanks Carrie for coming out here to see us!!! (Just think,,, you've been able to travel around the states all b/c of ME!!)
